Who is Philippe Gunter?

Thank you for taking your time to look at my web site, my way to tell you more about myself. What I believe in as a private club general Manager, some examples of my strength in marketing and food and beverage. my passion and love of the private club business.

 My priorities as a country club general manager: 

§  Create an environment where the employees are happy and understand the level of personalized service the members expect. Employee turnover is a killer. Employees need to know the members and vice-versa. Share the vision of the club with all employees. Help the management team to achieve their department goal, remove the rocks on their road.

§  Increase the members' usage of the club by offering menus, sales promotions, fun and social activities the members want. Programs for adults, families and children. Communicate with the members continuously. Be visible to the members.

§  Train all department heads to be financially savvy, watching the sales trend and cost. React quickly when a financial problem arises.

§  Always promote the club and attract new members.

Casual menus, changing often, create the "WOW" in everything we offer. Wine programs.

Social activities for families, adults and children. Different marketing and activities for the various segments of the membership. Not one social event will attract all members.
